Ruin is a black mixed-size glitter topper inspired by the Shard in the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. (Note that this is essentially fanart and in no way associated with Sanderson or his publishers.) Ruin is one of the shards inhabiting Scadrial - the planet on which Mistborn takes place. Ruin represents decay and "change" or entropy and is associated with the color black.

Photos show one moderate coat of polish over teal creme.

For a more sparse application, wipe more of the polish off the brush before applying to your nails, or dilute with some clear polish before applying. You can also use a cosmetic sponge to make a gradient, or to apply in a more controlled manner for nail art.

For the counterpart to Ruin, a white glitter topper inspired by Preservation, see this listing

General Product Info:

Warning: For external use only

While I try to accurately capture all of my products, variations between screens can cause slight differences in color. Also, because I make my polishes in small batches, slight variations in color may occur. I do not accept returns, however if there’s a problem with your order, please let me know ASAP so I can correct it for you.

My polishes are all vegan, cruelty free and 10-free, and handmade in California.

All full-size bottles are 15 mL. Each bottle includes 2 stainless steel mixer balls.

I try to ship items within a business day or two of receiving the order, however I’m often away from home on weekends and may take a couple extra days to process orders.

Please note I am currently unable to ship to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico, or military bases due to shipping laws regarding nail polish. I am only able to ship to the 48 contiguous United States.
